Life
During Prohibition in the 1930s, small-time thief Rayford Gibson and bank clerk Claude Banks agree to transport a truckload of liquor from Mississippi after getting into trouble with a local crime boss. Their journey ends with an arrest and a false murder charge, sending both men to prison for life. Forced to face the same harsh system, Ray and Claude gradually become friends while trying to endure a punishment they did not deserve.
