Kursk
During a Russian naval exercise in the Barents Sea, the submarine Kursk is struck by a devastating accident and sinks with its crew trapped inside. Mikhail Averin and the surviving sailors struggle to stay alive while their families, including Mikhail’s wife Tanya, demand reliable information from the authorities. As time runs short, a British naval officer tries to secure permission to launch an underwater rescue, but official obstruction and incompetence threaten to delay help.
