Knockin' on Heaven's Door

Martin Brest and Rudi Wurlitzer meet in a hospital after learning that they have terminal cancer. With little time left, they decide to see the sea, but their impulsive escape takes an unexpected turn when they steal a Mercedes convertible containing a large sum of money and a pistol. The car belongs to gangsters, who set out after them, while the two men also attract the attention of the police. Their journey toward the coast becomes a hurried flight through one dangerous situation after another.
