In the 22nd century, Earth has become uninhabitable and a civil war continues to divide what remains of humanity. Seo-hyun, a researcher at an artificial intelligence laboratory, works on a project based on Jung-yi, an elite soldier and her mother. By cloning Jung-yi’s brain and placing it in an artificial body, the team hopes to create a robot mercenary capable of changing the course of the war. However, turning a human mind into a combat machine raises problems the researchers cannot simply program away.
