In 2045, Alice Barelli lives in a suburban home where robots handle the everyday work. When a revolt by self-aware AI androids begins outside, the household robots lock Alice and several other residents indoors, claiming that confinement is the safest option. As the group remains trapped, their protected home becomes the place where they must deal with both the machine uprising and the limits of the technology they rely on.
