It’s the Law
In the Sicilian town of Pietrammare, residents elect Valentino as mayor after he promises to fight the practices that have kept the law from being properly enforced. Once in office, he begins carrying out those promises without exceptions, introducing rules that affect everyday life across the town. The residents who supported his campaign soon discover that honest government is far less convenient when it applies to everyone, including themselves.
