It's Kind of a Funny Story
Sixteen-year-old Craig Gilner is overwhelmed by depression and recurring thoughts of suicide, so he admits himself to a psychiatric hospital for help. Instead of entering a ward for teenagers, he is placed among adult patients, where he meets Bobby and Noelle and begins treatment with Dr. Eden Minerva. As Craig adjusts to the unfamiliar environment, conversations with the other patients force him to confront the pressures that have made everyday life feel impossible.
