Girl, Interrupted
In the late 1960s, Susanna is admitted to a psychiatric hospital after a suicide attempt and receives a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder. What begins as a short stay becomes an uncertain struggle to understand her own identity and decide where she belongs. Among the other patients, she forms a close friendship with Lisa, a rebellious young woman whose hostility toward the hospital challenges Susanna’s view of treatment, sanity and life outside its walls.
