After facing Voldemort, Harry Potter returns to Hogwarts and finds that the Ministry of Magic refuses to accept that the Dark Lord has returned. The new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Dolores Umbridge, limits practical training, leaving the students unprepared for the threat gathering beyond the school. With Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, Harry creates a secret student group where he teaches his classmates how to defend themselves. Their lessons put them at odds with Umbridge and the Ministry’s attempt to control Hogwarts.
