Eight Below
During an Antarctic expedition with Dr. Davis McClaren, sled-dog trainer Jerry Shepard is forced to evacuate the polar base when a severe snowstorm approaches. He leaves his dogs secured outside, expecting a rescue team to return, but the mission is cancelled and the animals remain alone in the frozen wilderness. For the next six months, Jerry searches for a sponsor who can help him organize an expedition to bring them back.
