Cold Skin

A young meteorologist takes a year-long posting on a remote island, where he expects to work alone. The lighthouse keeper, Gruner, does not come to meet him, and the reason becomes clear after nightfall, when strange creatures emerge from the sea and attack the island. As the assaults continue, the newcomer must rely on the isolated keeper while trying to survive a conflict he barely understands.
