Calvary
Father James Lavelle, a Catholic priest serving a small Irish town, receives an unsettling threat during confession: an unknown man says he will kill him in one week. The stranger claims he was abused by another priest and now blames the Church, choosing James because he represents the kind of priest he believes should be punished. Bound by the secrecy of confession, James cannot identify the man or involve the police, so he continues his regular work while trying to understand which of the people around him may carry out the threat.
