Barton Fink
After a successful career as a New York playwright, Barton Fink moves to Los Angeles when a film studio hires him to write a screenplay. He settles into a cheap hotel and struggles to produce the script, finding that Hollywood offers little room for the socially focused theater he wants to create. His neighbor Charlie Meadows offers assistance, but Barton’s work is soon overshadowed by disturbing events connected to the hotel and the movie business.
