A Dog's Will
In the impoverished hinterland of Northeastern Brazil, João Grilo and Chicó get by with quick thinking and a talent for deceiving the people around them. Their schemes draw them into trouble in a small town, where poverty leaves little room for honest solutions. After they die, the pair face a judgment before Christ, the Devil and the Virgin Mary, and their past actions become the subject of a supernatural trial.
