Life Is Beautiful (1997)
Guido, an Italian bookseller of Jewish ancestry, builds a loving family with Dora and their young son, Giosué. Their life changes when Guido and the boy are deported to a concentration camp during World War II, while Dora chooses to follow them. To shield Giosué from the reality of the camp, Guido pretends they are taking part in a competition whose winner will receive a real tank, and turns each day into part of the game.
