After leaving a convenience store, ordinary high school student Subaru Natsuki is suddenly transported to a world he knows nothing about. A silver-haired girl named Emilia helps him when he is attacked, and Subaru joins her search for a missing item to repay the favor. Their cooperation ends in tragedy, but Subaru wakes up at the place where he first arrived and discovers that he can return after dying. He uses this ability to try to prevent Emilia’s death and overcome the dangers surrounding them.

Головний герой, Субару Нацукі, повертався зі звичайного магазину і неймовірним чином опинився у зовсім не звичайному світі.
