The Garden of Words

Fifteen-year-old Takao Akizuki is learning to make shoes while spending a rainy morning away from school in a Japanese garden, where he sketches designs. There he meets Yukari Yukino, a 27-year-old woman, and the two begin returning to the same place whenever the weather keeps them there. As their regular meetings continue, Takao and Yukari gradually share more about their lives and grow closer, but the approaching end of the rainy season threatens to interrupt their unusual routine.
