Rodney Copperbottom is a young robot inventor who wants to improve life for robots and make his ideas useful to everyone. His plans are disrupted when the dishonest businessman Ratchet takes control of Bigweld Industries and changes the company’s direction. As Ratchet’s policies put Rodney’s dreams and those of other robots at risk of becoming obsolete, Rodney must find a way to stand up to the new leadership.
