When They See Us

In 1989, five teenagers from Harlem are taken into custody after a young woman is brutally attacked in New York’s Central Park. Although they had no part in the rape, Kevin Richardson, Korey Wise, Yusef Salaam, Raymond Santana Jr. and Antron McCray are accused and pushed through a criminal case that ends with prison sentences. The miniseries follows the boys and their families as they confront a justice system determined to treat them as guilty.
