Teenager Stephen Jameson hears voices and begins teleporting without control, leaving him unsure where he will wake up next. Following one of the voices leads him to John Young, Cara Coburn and Russell Kwon, members of a genetically advanced group known as the Tomorrow People. They can teleport, communicate telepathically and move objects with their minds, but their abilities have drawn the attention of Ultra, a militarized team of scientists that considers them a threat.
