Devon DeWitt is unsettled by how closely her sister Simone has become involved with Michaela Kell, the billionaire who employs her. She goes to Michaela’s lavish seaside estate to find out what lies behind their relationship, but the visit places her inside a world shaped by wealth, unusual expectations and tensions she does not immediately understand.
