Bristol Cove has long been associated with stories about mermaids, but the legends take on a new meaning when Ryn, a mysterious young woman, appears in the coastal town. Her arrival confirms that the creatures of the sea are real and brings Ben Pownall, Maddie Bishop and Xander McClure into a growing conflict between the town’s residents and predatory beings returning to the ocean. As more of them emerge, the boundaries between human life and the sea become increasingly difficult to protect.
