Magne Seier, a dyslexic teenager, returns to the Norwegian town of Edda with his mother and younger brother. He soon befriends Isolde, an environmental activist who uses her YouTube channel to document the town’s decline and the rapid melting of glaciers. As warm winters and violent downpours disrupt everyday life, Isolde blames the powerful Jutul family, whose illegal activities may be linked to the worsening environmental crisis. With Magne’s help, she begins to uncover that the family’s actions are far more disturbing than she imagined.
