Lee Jae-yoon, a soldier who joined the military late, and his girlfriend Kang Young-joo break up over the phone after a series of misunderstandings. Their personal crisis is soon overtaken by a zombie outbreak: a plane crashes in central Seoul, a state of emergency is declared, and Jae-yoon becomes trapped with his unit on top of a skyscraper. Young-joo must make her way through streets filled with zombies to find him.
