John Taylor has built a quiet life creating puzzles under the name Ludwig, away from the demands of the outside world. That routine is broken when his identical twin, James, suddenly disappears. With no clear explanation for what happened, John assumes James’s identity and begins searching for him, but living as his brother draws him into problems he is not prepared to solve. His puzzle-making skills may help him follow the clues, yet each discovery makes the mystery around James more complicated.
