Moon Gang-tae works at a psychiatric hospital and spends his life looking after his brother, Moon Sang-tae, while keeping his own emotional wounds under control. He meets Ko Moon-young, an illustrator and writer of fairy tales whose antisocial behavior makes closeness difficult and who does not believe in the stories she creates. As their relationship develops, Gang-tae is pushed to face the burdens he has carried for years.
