Josh Futturman spends his days working as a janitor at a medical research center and his nights playing Biotic Wars, a video game no one else has managed to finish. After he finally completes it, Tiger and Wolf, two characters from the game, appear in his room and claim that Josh is the only person who can stop humanity’s extinction. They recruit him for a mission involving time travel and a future threatened by a mutant super-race, forcing an ordinary gamer into a conflict far beyond the screen.
