Action Science Fiction Adventure Fantasy

After an unexplained explosion leaves Los Angeles in ruins, high school student Josh Wheeler sets out to find Sam, the girl he believes he should be with. The city is now divided among rival groups of teenage survivors, while mindless ghouls roam the streets and former adults have become mutants. Josh joins forces with young pyromaniac Angelica Green and Wesley Fists, a former bully turned pacifist samurai, but reaching Sam means facing the gangs controlling the new world.
