Alias Grace

In 1843, Grace Marks, a young Irish immigrant working as a housemaid in Canada, is imprisoned for the murder of her employer, Thomas Kinnear. Grace insists that she cannot remember the crime, although the evidence against her appears conclusive. Ten years later, Dr. Simon Jordan begins meeting with her, hoping that careful conversations about her past will help recover the missing memories and clarify what happened.
