Zatoichi

Zatoichi is a blind wandering masseur whose skill with a sword is matched only by his love of dice games. When he reaches a village controlled by rival gangs, their struggle has already made everyday life unsafe for the townspeople. Rather than pass through unnoticed, Zatoichi takes their side and confronts the forces fighting for control of the village. His journey soon becomes a series of clashes in which his blindness does not prevent him from facing armed opponents.
