While You Were Sleeping
Lucy Eleanor Moderatz works in Chicago transit and quietly admires Peter Callaghan, a commuter she sees regularly. After Peter is attacked and falls into a coma, Lucy saves him from the railway tracks, but his family mistakes her for his fiancée. She allows the misunderstanding to continue as she grows close to the Callaghans, while Peter’s brother Jack begins to question her story and Lucy’s feelings shift toward him.
