True Story
After losing his job at The New York Times over a reporting dispute, journalist Michael Finkel learns that accused murderer Christian Longo has been arrested in Mexico while using his name. Intrigued by the strange connection, Finkel visits Longo in prison and agrees to hear his account of the killings that made him one of the FBI’s Most Wanted. Their meetings draw the disgraced reporter into a search for the truth, while forcing him to question what Longo is hiding and why he chose Finkel’s identity.
