True Grit
After her father is murdered by hired hand Tom Chaney, 14-year-old Mattie Ross decides to track down the killer herself. She hires Rooster Cogburn, a hard-drinking U.S. marshal known for his toughness, and insists on joining the search rather than staying behind. Their pursuit takes them into Indian territory, where Texas Ranger LaBoeuf follows the same trail because he has his own grievance against Chaney.
