Trouble with the Curve
Aging baseball scout Gus Lobel is struggling with failing eyesight as he evaluates what may be the last prospect of his career. He asks his grown daughter, Mickey, to accompany him, bringing unresolved tension into a demanding search for a future player. While Gus studies the young talent, Mickey becomes acquainted with Johnny Flanagan, a former player who now works as a scout, and their presence adds another complication to the trip.
