Tidal Wave

At Haeundae Beach, former fisherman Choi Man-shik runs a small restaurant and looks after a woman whose father died in an accident he feels responsible for. Their quiet lives are interrupted when oceanologist Kim Hwi detects signs of a massive tsunami approaching Busan and urges officials to evacuate the crowded resort. As authorities question his warning, Man-shik and the people around him must prepare for a disaster that could reach the shore within minutes.
