The Rock

After Brigadier General Francis X. Hummel and his mercenaries seize Alcatraz, they take tourists hostage and threaten San Francisco with chemical weapons. The FBI turns to Dr. Stanley Goodspeed, a chemical weapons expert, and John Patrick Mason, the only prisoner ever to escape the island prison. They must enter the fortress, stop Hummel’s plan and prevent the deadly gas from reaching the city, while facing the heavily armed group controlling Alcatraz.
