Luke Glanton earns a living as a motorcycle stunt rider at a traveling carnival in Schenectady. After discovering that his former girlfriend, Romina Gutierrez, has given birth to their son, he looks for a way to support them and turns to robbing banks. His crimes bring him into conflict with Avery Cross, a police officer whose response to Luke’s actions leads into a wider story about corruption and the consequences for both families.
