The Perfect Patient

Journalist Hannes Råstam begins examining the case of Thomas Quick, a man held in a psychiatric prison after confessing to a series of murders in Sweden and Norway. The convictions rest largely on Quick’s own statements, while the investigations offer little evidence to confirm what happened. As Råstam interviews those involved, he starts questioning the methods that turned a disputed confession into the foundation of a major murder case—and the legal system that accepted it.
