Meerkat Timon and warthog Pumbaa tell the story of Simba’s childhood from their own point of view. Before the young lion’s adventure begins, the two friends set out to find a home of their own, but soon take on the task of looking after the energetic cub. Their account overlaps with the events of The Lion King while following the familiar story through the experiences of its two unlikely companions.
