The Kings of Summer
During summer break, high-school friends Joe Toy, Patrick Keenan and Biaggio leave home and head into the woods to escape their parents’ rules. In a secluded clearing, they build a makeshift house and decide to live there on their own, relying on their limited carpentry skills and whatever they can manage without adult help. Their plan for independence soon tests the friendship between the three boys and forces them to deal with the practical difficulties of creating a life away from home.
