The Heist of the Century
In 2006, a carefully prepared robbery begins when a group of thieves takes control of the Rio Bank in Acassuso, an affluent suburb of Buenos Aires. With employees and visitors held hostage inside, the robbers open negotiations with the police while officers surround the building. Their plan is designed to do more than secure a way out: it must also allow them to remove money and valuables worth more than 15 million dollars from the vault. What follows makes the operation far more complicated than a conventional bank heist.
