The Fountain

Tom Creo is trying to save his wife, Izzi, who is dying from a brain tumor. While doctors search for a way to treat her, Tom becomes focused on an ancient legend about a tree whose sap can grant eternal life. The story follows this struggle across three parallel narratives set more than a thousand years apart, where different versions of Tom confront the same question of how far he can go to defeat death.
