The Forbidden Kingdom
American teenager Jason Tripitikas spends much of his free time watching Hong Kong martial-arts films and idolizing kung-fu heroes. A visit to a Chinatown pawnshop brings him into possession of a legendary staff linked to the Monkey King, but the relic also sends him to ancient China. There, Jason joins a group of warriors who must find a way to release the Monkey King from captivity while facing enemies determined to keep him imprisoned.
