The Counselor
A successful lawyer, known only as the Counselor, is preparing to marry Laura when an old acquaintance offers him a chance to make a large profit. Despite having no experience in the criminal underworld, he agrees to help move a $20 million shipment of cocaine from Mexico to the United States. The decision draws him into drug trafficking and leaves him facing a situation far beyond his control, alongside the people who arranged the deal, including Reiner and Malkina.
