The Advent Calendar

Eva, a former dancer who now uses a wheelchair after an accident, receives an old wooden advent calendar from her friend Sophie just before Christmas. At first, its small surprises seem harmless, but each opened window causes consequences in Eva’s real life, and most of them are bad. As the calendar offers her a chance to walk again, Eva must decide whether to destroy it or continue opening it, knowing that its price may include someone’s death.
