Retired CIA operative Bryan Mills arrives in Istanbul with his former wife, Lenore, where the trip quickly turns into a kidnapping. The father of a man Mills killed while rescuing his daughter in Paris takes revenge by capturing Bryan and Lenore. Trapped far from home, Bryan has to use his field skills to escape captivity and protect his family before the abduction claims another victim.
