Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow
When giant robots strike New York, Sky Captain, an aviator who commands a private air force, joins forces with reporter Polly Perkins, his former girlfriend. Polly has been tracing the disappearance of prominent scientists, and the attacks suggest that the two mysteries are connected. Their search leads them from London to the Himalayas, where they pursue the elusive Dr. Totenkopf and try to uncover the purpose of his machine army.
