Sense and Sensibility

After Henry Dashwood’s sudden death, his widow and three daughters lose the family estate, which must pass by law to his son. With little money and no secure home, sensible Elinor and impulsive Marianne Dashwood face a society where marriage prospects depend heavily on wealth and status. As the family begins a new life in the countryside, the sisters pursue love in very different ways while trying to protect their future and support one another.
