Rio
Blu is a domesticated macaw who has lived in Minnesota with Linda since he was a hatchling, but he has never learned to fly. When they discover that Jewel, a female of his rare species, lives in Rio de Janeiro, they travel there to meet her. Their reunion is interrupted by animal smugglers, who capture both birds and force them to find a way to escape. As Blu and Jewel make their way through Rio, Blu must face the flight he has always avoided.
