Promising Young Woman
Cassandra once left medical school and now works as a waitress while living with her parents. At night, she pretends to be too drunk to protect herself, drawing self-proclaimed “good guys” into situations where their intentions become clear. Her unusual routine is tied to a tragic event in her past, and Cassandra uses these encounters to take revenge on the men who mistreat women. When people connected to that past enter her life, her plan takes a more personal direction.
